'FILLING THE WORLD WITH SONG'
60 MEMBER Children's Choir direct from the United States
In a celebration of East Gippsland's community spirit and resilience, prominent youth choir the Colorado Children's Chorale will perform free community recovery concerts.
This Council-backed all-ages performance is brought to the stage by the Forge Theatre and Arts Hub, East Gippsland's Performing Arts Centre and ACFEA Tour Consultants.
SHAOCHUN TSAI-SCHNEIDER, Pianist, joined the Chorale in 2019. She has many years of experience collaborating and performing with instrumental musicians and choirs. In addition to being an active pianist, ShaoChun earned her doctorate degree in trumpet performance at Arizona State University in Tempe before relocating to Denver, Colorado. She enjoys teaching piano and trumpet lessons and sharing the joy of music with students of all ages.
ACFEA's national managers, Robert and Jenny Latimer, are proud East Gippslanders and passionate supporters of the arts who have been bringing international talent to the region for two decades. Council thanks the Latimers for their generous support.
'These events provide a fantastic opportunity to reconnect as a community after a challenging couple of years,'' Mayor Cr Mark Reeves said.

The internationally acclaimed Colorado Children's Chorale was founded in 1974, and boasts performances in the White House, the Lincoln Centre for the Performing Arts in New York, Royal Albert Hall in London and more.
With a repertoire ranging from opera and musical theatre to chorale compositions in classical, folk and popular traditions, the Chorale performs with a passionate and joyful theatrical spirit.
