Boisterous Beethoven (Sunday 20 September 2020, 2.30pm)
Update 27 June 2020: We are pleased to announce rehearsals are now resuming and we look forward to welcoming you back to our concerts in the second half of the year. The NSO committee will continue to monitor the latest public health guidelines from the government and will inform all ticket holders of our COVID-Safe plans in the week leading up to the concert. At this stage, it is likely the concert hall will be operating to a reduced capacity, so please book early to avoid disappointment. Refunds (excluding the 50c TryBooking fee) will be available to all ticket holders in the case of cancellation, or if you are unable to attend the event due to illness.

We celebrate Beethoven's 250th year with a performance of some of his greatest works, including the intimate and lyrical Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major, and the playful and energetic Symphony No. 2 in D Major. The concert will also open with the wondrous seascape of Mendelssohn's Calm Sea and Prosperous Voyage.

Print-at-home tickets are available online until 10.30am on 20 September 2020. If you do not have a printer, tickets can be presented on your smartphone. All advertised prices are inclusive of a 50c per ticket booking fee which will be added to your order during check-out. Tickets are also available at the venue from 2pm on the day of the concert (cash only).

 

Please note that print-at-home tickets ordered online can be presented directly at the door. There is no need to join the queue for ticket sales.
