Symphonic Cinema (Sunday 13 December 2020, 2.30pm)
Bookings for this event will reopen at 9am ACST on Saturday 25 July 2020.
All seats are pre-allocated in physically distanced blocks of 1 to 4, with at least two empty seats (or aisle) between each block and extra space or staggering between rows. We kindly ask that you only reserve complete blocks, unless no other seats in your group size are available. In the case that you must split a block, please notify treasurer@norwoodorchestra.com so adjacent seats can be removed from sale.
Update 22 July 2020: We are pleased to announce rehearsals have now resumed and we look forward to welcoming you back to our concerts in the second half of the year. The NSO committee will continue to monitor the latest public health guidelines from the government and will inform all ticket holders of our COVID-Safe plans in the week leading up to the concert. At this stage, it is likely the concert hall will be operating to a reduced capacity, so please book early to avoid disappointment. Refunds (excluding the 50c TryBooking fee) will be available to all ticket holders in the case of cancellation, or if you are unable to attend the event due to illness.

Conductor - Michael Milton
Special guests - Adelaide Horn Jam

Join the Norwood Symphony Orchestra as we guide you through the world of symphonic cinema. Featuring highlights from some of the most loved film scores of all time, including composers John Barry, Henry Mancini, Hans Zimmer, Howard Shore, Danny Elfman, Ennio Morricone, and of course John Williams.

Bookings are available online until 10.30am on 13 December 2020. Tickets can either be printed or presented on your smartphone. All advertised prices are inclusive of a 50c per ticket booking fee which will be added to your order during check-out.

A number of extra precautions will be put in place for this concert to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our audience members. This includes the implementation of allocated seating and additional space between rows in the stalls.

We appreciate that some audience members, e.g. from the same household, will still choose to sit together, while others will prefer to keep their distance. Under the SA Government's "Step 3" guidelines, 1.5 m separation is recommended, but no longer mandated. Instead, the capacity of the concert hall will be restricted to one person per 2 sqm. With this in mind, we have developed a seating plan which includes isolated blocks of between 1 and 4 seats. If you have larger group sizes, and do not wish to sit apart, please contact treasurer@norwoodorchestra.com and we will do our best to accommodate.

Please note that tickets ordered online can be presented directly at the door. There is no need to join the queue for ticket sales.
