Mindfulness by Webinar

16 April to 4 June 2020 (8 classes)

Mindfulness has roots in Buddhism, utilising a meditation technique that helps shift your thoughts away from your usual preoccupations and toward an appreciation of the present moment – facilitating a feeling of calmness within yourself and a larger perspective on life.

Join Nicola Graham, MS Education and Wellbeing Program Coordinator as she steps us through the practice of Mindfulness. During this 8 week series, Nicola will take us through a little theory, lots of practice and opportunities for connection and for building resilience during these trying times.

Nicola has taught Mindfulness at the Department of General Practice at Monash University since 2002 and brings a wealth of experience of Mindfulness and its application in both chronic health conditions and in the modern work environment.

Sessions will run from 11.00am to 11.30am on:

Thursday 16 April

Thursday 23 April

Thursday 30 April
