Impacts of sport shutdown - with Dr Ashlee Morgan
Join Dr Ashlee Morgan, sport business researcher from the School of Business and Law for a discussion on "Seasons suspended: impacts of sport shutdown from local to elite."
In this short webinar, we will discuss how community and elite sport provide much more than just entertainment. Sport is an opportunity for individual physical and mental health benefits and are instrumental in the development of social capital and social cohesion within communities. As local clubs are closing their doors, and professional sport seasons have been suspended, the social impact will be felt broadly through the community.
You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions at the end of the presentation.
Webinars will be conducted live via Microsoft Teams and can be viewed from a web browser (Chrome, Firefox or Edge only) on your mobile device or desktop (Windows or Mac).
