Brisbane Girls Grammar School invites parents to participate in a special online viewing of Screenagers Next Chapter.

Screenagers Next Chapter is the award-winning sequel to the original Screenagers film. Designed to inspire conversations about how we can help children and adolescents navigate the digital world, Screenagers Next Chapter focuses on how parents and educators can empower teenagers to build emotional agility and resilience.

The virtual screening will comprise two elements—a viewing of the film and an interactive Q&A discussion with Student Care Staff.

On Wednesday 6 May, parents will receive a streaming link to view Screenagers Next Chapter. The film can be viewed until 11 pm, Sunday 10 May.

Parents will then receive an email on Tuesday 12 May, with a link to participate in a Zoom Webinar, to be held on Thursday 14 May. The discussion will be hosted by School Psychologist, Dr Alix Vann, with Deputy Principal, Mrs Anne Ingram, Director of Student Counselling, Ms Jody Forbes, and Dean of Students, Mrs Emma Lowry, as panellists.

Parents are encouraged to attend this family-friendly Q&A session, during which staff will answer questions and discuss a range of topics relevant to the film.

Further details, including the webinar link, will be shared with those families who register to attend.

Visit the Screenagers website to view the trailer for the film.

Please note, this movie is suitable for Years 10 and above.
