"Keep it Moving" Online Exercise Program

15 June to 20 July 2020 (6 classes)

The "Keep it Moving Program" is a 6-week strength-based exercise online program run live by the MS Exercise Physiologist team. The aim of this program is to strengthen your arms, legs and core as well as provide some balance and stretching exercises.

There is no equipment required, however you may be asked use common household items (such as food cans or water bottles) to add resistance if appropriate.  The program is designed for people living with multiple sclerosis and each exercise will have a seated and standing option. Sessions will be 45 minutes in duration and include exercise education and tips.

Please Note: As this program offers different versions of each exercise, it would be suitable for clients with moderate disability but are able to mobilise independently to clients restricted to a wheelchair and have active movement in their upper body.

*The weekly sessions will be recorded and made available each week for those who register. If you're unable to attend the live event at the scheduled time, you can view the session recording at a time convenient to you.

This is not an interactive session so please do follow at your own pace and you will be able send messages through to us with any enquiries. If we cannot answer this during the session, we will make time to do so afterwards.
