This workshop is designed to take beginners and the curious through the exercise of opening up their computer, seeing what's inside and tinkering.
Over approximately 2 hours we'll go through what makes up the average PC and work through the things you can, can't, should and shouldn't do when you peek inside.
You'll learn what everything is, what's worth doing, what's not worth doing and how not to make things worse when you are troubleshooting.
It's going to be fun.
NOTE 1: You don't have to bring a PC or laptop to this workshop. Examples of what is being discussed will be on display.
NOTE 2: If you DO want to bring your machine to open up please note that you need to advise me in advance. Various factors mean that the workshop cannot cater for everyone bringing a machine.
NOTE 3: A MAXIMUM OF 4 participants can bring a PC for opening.
NOTE 4: Due to the additional complexity and time taken to open some laptops, we may not be able to open a laptop if you bring it.
On Saturday 19 September 2020 at 2:00pm
