Disappearing Tarn Guided Walk - (Just for Adults)
Join us for a hike into the southern wildlands of kunanyi/Mt Wellington.
Following the Milles Track from the Springs, this challenging walk includes both wet and dry forest, tea tree thickets, and low-growing heath communities amongst rock scree and boulder slopes with the chance of seeing the elusive and ephemeral Disappearing Tarn filled with water.
Approximately 7km walk, this return journey out to the tarn and back involves rough, muddy, and uneven ground and some rock hopping, previous rough track bushwalking experience is recommended.
