Brisbane Lesbian and Gay Pride Choir

My Country? An Evening of Australian and Irish Music

On 17 May, Brisbane's Story Bridge will be rainbow lit to mark IDAHO, the International  Day against homophobia, transphobia and biphobia.  Under the Bridge, join the Brisbane Lesbian and Gay Pride Choir and guests as they present an evening of Australian and Irish music.  From Indigenous songs to folk ballads, from show tunes to pop hits, they will perform the stories of their lives.

The Choir will be joined by two special guests.  Local band, Eurotone Crisis will bring its Celtic charm to the night; and sassy singer Mary Jane Carpenter will 'just wanna wish you well'.

This is a night to listen to great music and to join in raising awareness of the rights of gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered and intersex people in Australia and globally.
