Melbourne Writer's Festival - Local Libraries: Arnold Zable
A writer, novelist and human rights advocate, Arnold Zable was awarded the 2021 Australia Council Lifetime Achievement in Literature for a celebrated canon of work that spans three decades. He appears in conversation to share his unique understanding of history, memory, displacement and community, captured in books such as his most recent one 'The Watermill', which ‘elevates history into near mythical tales of wonder’ (The Australian).
