Long Gone Lonesome Cowgirls
By Phillip Dean, Directed by Marjolijn Dudgeon
A "feel good" - sad but hilarious - two-hander, set in a tiny, far outback Queensland town in the late 1960's about an unlikely friendship between two young women of wildly differing temperaments, united in their abandonment by the men in their lives and their passion for country and western music. The play features great country and western classics, sung by the two women as they traverse their rocky paths to happiness.
