Collie - Come Visit with FHWA
Thursday afternoon is a guided walking tour of murals and historical parts of Collie; remember appropriate footwear. Visit the Local Studies Collection in the Collie library to hear about district history presented by local historian John Bird and look at old photos and maps. Afternoon tea will be served for participants in the library.
A social evening meal at a local venue is planned for all attendees at your cost.
Friday morning visit the Heritage Railway Goods Shed, learn about railway personalities with morning tea provided. The shed has been restored by Heritage Skills Association WA. Yolanda Cool, Heritage Skills facilitator, recently enthused us about this restoration project at Mix and Mingle.
To participate in these events FHWA members and friends will be charged $50 each but numbers are limited. Accompanying people, driver, friend, bike rider or golfer, who do not wish to participate in the FHWA events, will pay $5.
Travel, accommodation and all meals will be your responsibility.
