Richard is the CEO of Couriers Please, Australia’s leading franchise parcel delivery network.
Richard’s franchise experience spans more than twenty years across a variety of industries. Prior to joining Couriers Please, Richard was CEO of Snap Franchising, a founding member of the FCA and Managing Director of Aramex Australia.
Currently the president of the NSW state chapter of the FCA, Richard is also an active member of the FCA board and convenor of the FCA CEO syndicate.
A graduate of the Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) program, Richard is passionate about helping franchisees achieve their goals and encouraging talented team members to build rewarding careers in the franchise sector.
Anastasia Lloyd-Wallis, Head of Insights, Retail Doctor Group
Anastasia leads the Consumer Insights division of Retail Doctor Group. With a professional background as a scientific analyst and a Masters in Mathematics, Anastasia has developed a unique and proprietary approach to help retailers and FMCG brands understand their consumers and market opportunities. Anastasia combines quantitative and qualitative market research, a proprietary methodology around neurosciences, mystery shopping and retail expertise to accurately model consumer personalities, motivations and behaviours. These insights enable RDG to provide retailers and consumer brands with an accurate overview of their customer base, which in turn informs strategy and provides a framework for deployment both in Australia and internationally.
Brian Walker, Chief Executive Officer, Retail Doctor Group
As the principal and founder of Retail Doctor Group in the Australasian and Asian market place, Brian brings considerable senior experience gained in the specialty retail, franchising and shopping centre sectors through line management, consulting, advisory and board roles. He has successfully led change teams in multi channel retail arenas and has been instrumental in the development and implementation of many notable, integrated retail channel strategy projects including, Optus, Hutchison Telecommunication, Global Brands Group, National Australia Bank and a host of other well recognised retail, franchise retail and service organisations both nationally and internationally. Brian has also successfully advised and operated on boards and associations in retail strategy and deployment.
Richard Goodman, Chief Executive Officer, Foodco - Australia & NZ
Richard was born in Sydney, Australia. Following his primary education, he completed a Certificate in Business Administration, the Australia Institute of Company Directors (AICD) course and Executive Masters in Business Administration. Richard is a member of AICD and Chief Executive Officer of Foodco Group
Prior to joining Foodco in 2022, Richard was Managing Director of Heinemann Australia, Chairman of the Australian Duty Free Association (ADFA) and Board member of the Asia Pacific Travel Retail Association (APTRA) and held other leadership roles at David Jones, Australia’s premium Department Store.
