Teaching Creative Writing: Stage 6 - Noah's, Newcastle

New and effective ways to engage students, build your own and your students' creativity and writing skills, and to engage with the Craft of Writing and Reading to Write modules and throughout Stage 6 of the new English curriculum.
Join course leaders Dr Bernard Cohen (award-winning novelist, founder of The Writing Workshop) and Dr Felicity Plunkett (award-winning poet and critic, former Chief Examiner of HSC English Extension 1 and Extension 2) for an inspiring and ideas-rich PD day.

Completing this course will contribute 5 hours of NESA Registered PD addressing 3.1.2, 3.2.2, 3.3.2, 3.4.2 and 3.5.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
Coffee/tea, morning tea and lunch included.
Course concludes at 3.30pm.
