Terms and Conditions  −  Paul McDermott Scholarship 2021

Upon request the scholarship winner may be required to provide proof of age.

Applicants must provide their own accompanist.
A warm up room with piano will be available 20 minutes prior to each audition.
Each audition will last 15-25 minutes. It is not necessary for your complete repertoire to fit within this time frame.
Applicants may be asked to perform all or part of their chosen repertoire as deemed appropriate by the adjudicator.
If the adjudicator deems there to be no applicants of appropriate standard in any given year the scholarship may be withheld.
The adjudicator's decision is final and no further discussion will be entered into.
The scholarship winner will be required to perform one work from their program at an AUSTA event within one year of their award.
Further details will be provided to the winner closer to the event. If the agreed work requires piano accompaniment the winner will be required to provide their own accompanist. The scholarship prize will also be presented at this event.
