Accommodation: A special conference accommodation rate is available at the Ville Resort & Casino and bookings may be made by contacting the Ville Resort & Casino directly or booking online using code NQLA2022 (one word). Rooms depend on availability and the NQLA recommends booking early.

Refunds: All requests for refunds must be made in writing to the NQLA Secretary, Michael Murray at michael@townsvillecommunity.law.

All refunds are at the discretion of the NQLA, and the NQLA reserves their right to charge an administration fee of $110.00 in the event a refund request is approved.

Refunds will not be accepted after 31 April 2022. However, substitutions are permitted.

COVID Safety, Notice and Government Restrictions: The Ville Resort & Casino and Peppers Blue on Blue Resort (the “Venues”) have advised that only fully vaccinated guests will be permitted entry to the Venues. In the event you purchase a ticket and are refused entry on the basis of the Venues’ COVID Policies, no refund of your conference ticket will be provided by the NQLA.

To adhere to COVID safety measures and for contact tracing purposes, conference name badges must be worn at all times and delegates must check in via the QLD Check In App when entering the Venues or if travelling on the ferry.

Should the official governing body of a state or territory enact border closures; or declare an area a COVID-19 Hotspot that renders members who live in that area unable to attend or travel, an affected member can:

Apply in writing for a refund. Refund requests must be made to the NQLA Secretary (michael@townsvillecommunity.law) no later than 31 April 2022. Refunds will be considered and granted at the discretion of the NQLA. No refunds will be issued after 31 April 2022. The NQLA reserves the right to charge an administration fee of $110 in the event that a refund request is approved;

Transfer their registration to another practitioner. Requests to transfer must be made in writing to the NQLA Secretary (michael@townsvillecommunity.law) prior to the commencement of the Conference; or

Apply for a non-transferrable credit to be used towards attendance at the NQLA 2023 Conference.
