Terms and Conditions  −  Creative Workshop for Adults

These Event Terms (Terms) govern your purchase of tickets for, and attendance at events held by The Brightspace Learning (Event/s). It is your responsibility to review these Terms prior to the purchase of tickets. By purchasing tickets you agree to be bound by these Terms. We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time but in line with consumer law and will provide the most recent version on our website.

Throughout these Terms, the terms “The Brightspace”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to The Brightspace Learning and its associated entities, and “you” refers to the individual or business purchasing tickets or attending Events.

1. EVENT BOOKING AND TICKET PURCHASE
a. You must pay GST and the processing fee as listed at checkout
b. Ticket prices are subject to change, and The Brightspace Learning will use best endeavours to inform you if there is a change.
c. Full payment must be received prior to the event
d. Your booking is confirmed when you receive an email notification and receipt from The Brightspace Learning
e. Your ticket includes all materials required for the session unless stated otherwise in your booking
f. Your ticket does not include food/drink unless stated otherwise in your booking
g. Optional extras may be available for purchase before the event
h. Food must be ordered with a minimum of 48hrs prior to the session time. Any food orders after this time will not be processed.
i. Doors open 15 minutes before the session begins. Please arrive on time.
j. For adult workshops, bring your own wine and beer. No spirits permitted.

2. REFUNDS, CREDITS AND TRANSFERS
a. All ticket sales are final
b. A ticket is transferable to another person if requested in writing to hello@thebrightspace.com.au with the person’s full name and email address.
c. At least 24 hours written notice is required to cancel, in which a credit will be issued for use within 12 months. Email hello@thebrightspace.com.au.
d. If cancelled within 24 hours, no credit or refund will be issued.
e. Any food purchased as part of your ticket is not refundable if cancelled within 72 hours

3. EVENT CANCELLATION AND POSTPONEMENT
Sometimes Events are cancelled, varied, rescheduled or postponed due to Force Majeure Events, situations which affect the artist or other causes.
Further, minimum numbers will be required for the event to proceed.

If the event is cancelled or postponed by us, a credit will be issued for use within 12 months

4. EVENT CONDUCT
The Brightspace Learning reserves the right to refuse entry or require you to leave if your behaviour is deemed unacceptable.

5. PHOTOS AND VIDEO RECORDINGS
The Brightspace learning may film and photograph events. You consent to being filmed or photographed by The Brightspace Learning (or its representatives) and to The Brightspace Learning using your images and/or recordings for the purpose of promoting our events, services and products both online and in print. No remuneration is payable for such use.

If you do not wish to be photographed, please advise our photographer and/or The Brightspace Learning representative on the day.

6. COVID-19
The Brightspace Learning will follow rules as set out by the NSW Government and NSW Health which are subject to change according to rules and restrictions at the time of the workshop.


TryBooking is an online system for organisations and community groups that has been designed to look after the entire event ticketing and registration needs.

All issues relating to the sale of tickets and the hosting of their associated event(s) are the responsibility of the “Event Organiser” and not that of TryBooking Pty Ltd (Australian Business Number 71126987915).
