WHILE WITHIN RAILWAY GROUNDS OR ON YOUR JOURNEY, WE ASK YOU TO ABIDE BY THE FOLLOWING DIRECTIONS TO PROTECT YOU, OTHER VISITORS, STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS FROM COVID-19.
If you are feeling unwell or are displaying illness symptoms, then please remain home.
Practice good hygiene – wash your hands and cough or sneeze into your elbow.
Wear a fitted mask in line with current government restrictions, and abide any and all directions provided by members of staff.
Remain 1.5m distant where practical from anyone you do not live with.
From time to time Mornington Railway or other authorised parties carry out photography and / or filming on its premises, which may feature visitors. By purchasing a ticket online, you agree that Mornington Railway or any authorised party may use such images in perpetuity in any promotional, advertising or publicity material in any format whatsoever. You further agree that copyright in these materials rests with Mornington Railway or such authorised party (as the case may be). Photos with staff and volunteers are not permitted at this stage. Ensure you are aware of your surroundings and the locations of others when taking photographs. Every effort will be made to accommodate photo requests with individuals during extraordinary running or event days, ie. Santa trains, Super Hero weekends etc

WE ASK YOU ABIDE BY THESE ADDITIONAL GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS.
Please follow all reasonable directions and safety instructions from MRPS staff and volunteers.
Please do not enter closed off sections of the railway, including areas of track.
Do not leave the platform unless directed to by a member of staff.
Avoid opening carriage doors when the train is in motion. When stationary and opening external doors, ensure a platform is present before stepping out.
Smoking is prohibited in all areas of the railway not specifically designated as a smoking area.
Alcohol is not to be consumes at any time unless in attendance at a designated and licensed function.

PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICY
Tickets are non-refundable or transferable, nor redeemable for cash or credit.
Whilst every attempt is made to honour all bookings, MRPS reserves the right to alter events, timetables or locomotives without prior notice.
On declared days of TOTAL FIRE BAN in the Central Zone or the whole State of Victoria, steam locomotives will not run, instead the train will be operated with a diesel locomotive.
On declared Fire Danger Rating days of Extreme or Code Red in the Central Zone or the whole State of Victoria, MRPS will close with no trains running.
Should MRPS be unable to run this train or an event, we will endeavour to transfer your booking to another date. However, if this is not possible, a full refund will be given. In this instance, we will notify you of the cancellation by email and/or phone as soon as possible.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
MRPS is only accepting online bookings at this time. To redeem previously issued gift certificates, email secretary@morningtonrailway.org
No cash transaction facilities are available. All transactions must take place using contactless or insert card transactions.
All passengers must carry a facemask, and fit it in line with current government restrictions.
MRPS will retain all personal information securely and retain this information for record keeping purposes in line with government requirements.
Facilities are available to cater for those with special needs. Please enquire with station staff on arrival.
Facilities to cater for prams are available. It is requested these not be taken into carriage compartments.
Toilet facilities are available at Moorooduc Station only.
Pets are not permitted on carriages or grounds. Exception granted to designated assistance animals.
MRPS reserves the right to direct any member of the public to leave our grounds or refuse entry should they be deemed be acting counter to the stipulated rules above, intoxicated or under the influence of illicit substances, or otherwise acting in an antisocial manner.

All arrivals are asked to present proof of double vaccination for Covid 19 or a formally issued exemption. Failure to do so will disqualify the arrival from travel. There are no refunds for forfeited tickets.
