VMMNA specialist skill clinics

Run by Gerard Murphy, VMMNA is holding three specialist skill development clinics. Separated into the three time slots and focus areas: Clinic 1 - Shooting 10-10.45am Clinic 2 - Midcourt 10.45-11.30am Clinic 3 - Defence 11.30-12.15pm Learn from one of the best coaches in the business. Each of the specialist sessions lasts for 45 minutes, so you can attend one or more if interested. The skills clinics are aimed at junior boys and girls 18 & Under this year wanting to get some more area-specific coaching. Participants will be separated by age or skill level. Share with your team or come alone, the clinics are a great way to learn from the coach of the Championship winning Victorian Mens team! Places are limited to ensure focused small groups. NB: To book multiple sessions select one slot at a time, when you get to your checkout select 'buy more tickets'

Junior MLeague training 2024

VMMNA are hosting open training sessions for boys in Junior MLeague. The sessions will be run by VMMNA Head Coach Gerard Murphy and available to any boys participating in Junior MLeague 2024. These sessions are held as an opportunity for players to develop their netball skills, especially if they do not currently train. These sessions will be held at the State Netball Centre in Parkville and cost $10 per participant to cover the costs of court hire.

Hosted by the Victorian Mens & Mixed Netball Association (VMMNA) and supported by local netball associations, VMMNA is running sessions for boys between the ages of 8 and 13 to try netball. The sessions will introduce boys to netball in a fun environment, run by players in Victorian men's teams. VMMNA hope to inspire the next generation of male netballers to either try the sport at a local association or to continue on their current netball journey. Our coaches all are experienced in the men's netball space and showcase the current possibilities for males in the sport. VMMNA are passionate about supporting the development of junior boys participating in netball from grassroots associations and hope to see continued growth in numbers over the coming years.
