The Standard Mental Health First Aid course will teach you how to provide initial support to other adults who may be experiencing a mental health problem or mental health crisis until appropriate professional help is received or the crisis resolves, using a practical, evidence-based Action Plan. This course is based on guidelines developed through the expert consensus of people with lived experience of mental health problems and professionals.

Developed in response to COVID-19, the new Blended Online MHFA Workplace Course includes two course components. Course Component 1 – Self-paced interactive eLearning (5-7 hours) Course Component 2 – Instructor-led video conferencing (2 x 2.5-hour sessions) via ZOOM - run over consecutive days. Both starting at 1.00 pm and finishing at 4 pm.
