There is plenty to see and do. This annual community food festival is situated on the picturesque foreshore of Port Esperance Bay in Dover. The Seafest showcases local food providers with a special emphasis on the seafood sourced from the southern sea. Locally produced cider, wine, spirits and beer is available along with live music and a makers and growers’ market, where you will have an opportunity to speak to some of the local producers and food providers.

Off we go - this time an overnight tour on the edge of Tasmania’s World Heritage Wilderness area. Strathgordon is literally the place at the end of the road. We will be met at the Maydena Bike Park –a world class gravity focused bike trails and taken by a smaller bus up to the Summit of Eagles Eyrie. You will experience lunch like no other. Then following day an opportunity to experience the Gordon Dam and the Gordon Power Station before lunch at the Lachlan Hotel, Ouse and returning home.

The Wall in the Wilderness is situated at Derwent Bridge in Tasmanian’s Central Highlands. It is Australia’s most ambitious art project undertaken. Created and designed by Greg Duncan. Greg has carved the history of the highlands in 100 metres of timber, most in Huon Pine.

Day 3 sees us visiting Wynyard Exhibition, Lobster Ponds where there is an Orange Bellied Parrots Exhibition. The Emu Valley Rhododendron Gardens. You will stay in Devonport for the next two nights.

private reserves in the State. It’s home of Nan Chauncy, a multiple award-winning children’s novelist. Then we will travel to 28 Gates farm. This is a working sheep farm. A 5500-acre property that has been in the Parson's family since 1862. An opportunity to tour the farm, see the working shearing sheds and browse the museum.

The next day is the beginning of our 4 day train trip through to Adelaide. Lots of day trips and adventures along the way. Then we head home to Hobart
