Lindisfarne Mother's Day Flowers 2025

The Year 9 and 10 Agriculture classes are excited to announce the sale of beautiful chrysanthemum bunches for Mother's Day! These flowers are the result of their Plant Production Enterprise, which saw them plant 1000 cuttings back in February. Support our students and make this Mother's Day extra special with school-grown blooms. The ordered flowers will be ready for collection on from Reception on Friday, 9 May, at both campuses.

This hands-on experience is designed for mothers, daughters, sons, and loved ones to spend quality time together while crafting a unique, meaningful pottery piece you can keep forever. For ages 12 and up. No prior experience needed - just bring your imagination and a willingness to get your hands messy!

Lindisfarne P&F Mother's Day Luncheon (High Tea)

Join in the celebrations at Lindisfarne's annual Mother's Day event brought to life by our Parents and Friends. Enjoy a Farm & Co lunch followed by some traditional 'High Tea' petit fours, all with a complimentary drink on arrival. Additional drinks available to purchase. $50 per person, booked in tables of four ($200). Bus transport is available. Bookings will close at 5.00pm on Monday, 5 May for catering purposes, unless sold out prior.

ParentEd - Sketchbook Everyday Workshop

Visual Arts - Artmaking as a daily practice to enhance creativity for Parents and Community Members. The workshop will feature a range of accessible techniques and approaches using mixed media to layer and develop your daily art diary practice. Materials will include watercolour, paint marker, pencil, pen and cover abstraction through to realism in its scope. All materials supplied, including morning tea and lunch. Beginners to Advanced practitioners are welcome.

ParentEd - Visual Arts Bloom Painting Experience

Lindisfarne is excited to host Bloom Art Experiences for our community run by renowned Brisbane artists Kate Quinn and Emily Day. The Bloom concept is simple - they offer bespoke art experiences, in unique and beautiful locations around Australia. During a Bloom workshop, you will be guided by Kate and Emily to paint a simple floral still life over one fantastic day. Bloom workshops are suitable for beginners, as well as those with some hobby painting experience. All materials, and catering provided.
