The Bialik Foundation has launched a range of merchandise as part of our "We 💙 Bialik" Giving Day campaign. Each item has been thoughtfully designed to reflect our key pillars—connection, curiosity, creation, community and to help share the mission and spirit behind the day. Purchased items can be collected from main reception (Auburn Rd) during recess and lunchtime from Monday 31st August. Purchases can also be made on Giving Day 10 September 2025 in seminar room A222 or at lunchtime in the Amphitheater.

We are privileged to welcome again Dr Daniel Heller from the Australian Centre for Jewish Civilisation (ACJC) at Monash University, who has recently been working with our Year 10 students as part of the Adva Leadership program on “Navigating Challenging Conversations.” This program, which is now embedded as part of the Year 10 curriculum, has been generously sponsored by the Bruder family. Dr Heller brings extensive expertise in Jewish studies, education, and psychology-informed approaches to communication, and is a key contributor to the Monash Brave Conversations Project - an initiative designed to equip young people with the skills to engage thoughtfully and respectfully with complex and often emotionally charged issues. In his work with our students, Dr Heller has focused on helping them navigate increasingly challenging conversations around Jewish identity, Israel, and antisemitism, particularly in today’s highly polarised social, educational, and online environments. His sessions explore the importance of “brave conversations,” grounded in both contemporary research and Jewish tradition, where respectful disagreement, critical thinking, and emotional awareness are seen as essential skills. Developing the confidence, knowledge, and skills to respond with clarity, resilience, and empathy is more important than ever.

Bialik Mazkirut warmly invites you to our Pink Challah Bake, proudly funded by the BCPA and held in support of, and to raise awareness for, the Breast Cancer Foundation. Join us for a meaningful morning of challah baking, where participants will prepare challah decorated with pink sprinkles to enjoy on Shabbat. We are also honoured to welcome special guest Sharon Davis, who will share her personal journey with breast cancer and help raise awareness for this important cause. The event will be held in Bialik’s Victor Smorgon Hall on Friday 28 August, from 7:30am to 8:30am. Tickets are priced at $18 per person. Please join us for a special Rosh Hashanah volunteer event at C Care on Sunday, 30 August. Together, we'll pack Rosh Hashanah gift bags for members of the community experiencing food insecurity and social isolation, helping ensure they can celebrate the Jewish New Year with dignity and support. C Care has welcomed our alumni and wider community in the past, and we're delighted to be partnering with them once again for this meaningful opportunity to give back. Bring your friends and family and make a positive impact in the lead-up to Rosh Hashanah. Children aged 8 and over are welcome to participate. Please note: C Care staff have requested that all attendees wear closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back.

We have pleasure in inviting Grandparents to a special Grandparents’ Morning Tea. There will be two of these events, one for Primary Grandparents (Years 2-5) on Tuesday 19 May from 11am - 12.30pm and one for Kinder 3 – Year 1 Grandparents on 9.30am - 11am.

Dear Class of 1996, It's time to get ready for your 30-Year Reunion!  The evening will be held at Bialik in the Bursztyn Family Hub. There will be a well-stocked bar, food and the opportunity to walk through the school to see what has changed.
