Join us for the next Creative Collab, a welcoming space to connect with other local artists and creatives, share ideas and explore new opportunities. This session will focus on funding pathways, exhibition opportunities and taking the next step with your creative ideas, with special guest Craig Donarski, Senior Western Sydney Programs Lead at Create NSW. Craig will share practical insights into current and upcoming funding programs, grant application tips, eligibility requirements and how creatives can strengthen their project ideas. Whether you’re preparing your first grant application, developing a new creative project, looking for exhibition pathways or keen to connect with Camden’s creative community, this session is a great opportunity to learn, ask questions and be inspired. Attendees are encouraged to bring a current project idea, funding question or exhibition goal to help guide the discussion and make the most of the Q&A. Unlock Camden Heritage Festival is your opportunity to celebrate your history, and connect with new audiences. We're inviting long-standing community groups, historical organisations, hobby clubs, service groups and cultural organisations to become part of this year's festival by hosting an activity, demonstration, display, tour or experience. ✨ Share your story ✨ Showcase what makes your group special ✨ Inspire the next generation of members and volunteers ✨ Build new connections within our community Whether you've been meeting for decades or preserving an important part of Camden's history, we'd love to help you shine during the festival. Join us in celebrating the people, places and stories that make Camden unique. If you are interested in having a market stall at the event please register via the link before Monday 24 August. Stalls are required to be in place for the duration of the event. 10am till 2pm and are welcome to include an art activity or demonstration to engage community.

Be part of a fabulous journey back in time as you engage with local historians as they share insights into Camden's heritage, history and culture. The 11am walk along Camden's historic John St will be led by Dr Ian Willis OAM, Independent Scholar, Camden Historian, and Member of the Camden Council Heritage Advisory Committee. Extensively published in academic journals, magazines, newspapers, Ian is an enthusiastic blogger at Camden History Notes and author of Camden & District Pictorial History. The 1pm walk will be led by Camden personality Laura Jane Aulsebrook, Educator and Academic, Presenter, Historian known as Camden's real life time traveller in her fifties fashions. Laura is a gifted communicator on numerous topics specialising in Australian Colonial and Macarthur history.
