Mini Market - Alan Baker Art Gallery

Mini Market is a monthly market for markers and producers of hand made art. Stallholder numbers are limited, please bring your own table, chair and gazebo. Space is limited, most sites are restricted to a single trestle table. Associations/networks will be provided additional space in negotiation with the ABAG staff. Registration is required.

Winter School Holiday Program - Creative Youth Lab

Between Monday 13 July 2026 and Friday 17 July 2026
Winter School Holiday Program 2026 is a five-day creative experience for young people who want to make, experiment and grow as artists. Running from 10am - 3pm each day, the program offers as immersive week of artist-led workshops across street art, illustration, clay, manga, mixed media, digital content and therapeutic arts. More than a holiday activity, it is a chance for young creatives to work alongside practicing artists, refine technique, test mew ideas and build confidence. Whether they are already passionate about the arts or just beginning to discover their strengths, the program helps young people imaging new possibilities for future study, creative careers and employment pathways. Perfect for Year 9 - 12 students shaping their major works. The program is FREE, supported by the Department of Communities and Justice, Office for Youth Winter Break Program, and Camden Council. Activities include: Street Art Illustration Studio Clay Slam Manga and Zines Mixed Media Lab Digital Media Studio Creative Wellbeing Studio

About Art After School is a weekly program hosted during the school term designed to develop the conceptual and practical artistic skills of students. By the completion of term, participants will have experimented with different mediums and produced a variety of works inspired by celebrated artists. When: Tuessday 4pm Where: Alan Baker Art Gallery Commencing: 28 July 2026, 8 week class Cost: $175 Student grade materials provided. Please only enrol your child into their corresponding age group according to the age they are at the time of enrolling. We ask that all participants please bring: • An art smock or paint shirt • A water bottle • An A4 Visual Art Diary with the students name written clearly on the cover If your child has previously attended Art After School: • Students are welcome to bring their books from that term if it is less than half full • If students have one side of their art bag still blank from a previous term, we encourage them to bring it in to decorate as their term bag. Please note, all parents are expected to remain in the vicinity of the facility for the duration of the lesson. If a child struggles to remain on task during class parents may be asked to assist staff to ensure the class is delivered in a manner that is beneficial to all participants.
