Backpacks and hampers for the Shack

Monday 23 October 2023
Christmas is around the corner and it would be great if we could help those disadvantaged kids and families starting school in the new year by buying a backpack or hamper to give to them. This initiative is run by The Shack in Nambour. Last year we were able to supply The Shack close to 100 bags for those kids on the coast doing it tough. We would love to do it again. Education should be about fun for all; however, the sad reality is that for so many new school supplies are simply unattainable. Consider getting together as a form class to buy one or get a few friends to get involved to buy one. Also consider getting your parents involved. Let’s make Christmas about giving through action. We will run this appeal until Friday November 17. Thank you in advance for supporting this appeal.

Backpacks for the Shack

Friday 11 November 2022
Christmas is around the corner and it would be great if we could help those disadvantaged kids starting school in the new year by buying a backpack to give to them. This initiative is run by The Shack in Nambour. Last year we were able to supply The Shack close to 100 bags for those kids on the coast doing it tough. We would love to do it again. Education should be about fun for all; however, the sad reality is that for so many new school supplies are simply unattainable. We encourage you to do your part by buying a backpack via the backpack appeal tile (now live) on your Geco dashboard. It’s easy! Consider getting together as a form class to buy one or get a few friends to get involved to buy one. Also consider getting your parents involved. Let’s make Christmas about giving through action. We will run this appeal from the starting today until Friday of Week 6. Thank you in advance for supporting this appeal.
