The FOPA festival features an open mic afternoon where you can strut your talents or sit back with lunch and a drink to enjoy the talent or terror of the brave souls stepping up to the microphone. Who knows? You could see a future FOPA headline performance and say you saw it first, here.

The Southern Ocean Sea Band presents a free half hour Sea Shanty session where audiences learn the history of the song form and then sing along with some old traditional classics of the genre and those newly written by the band.
Later in the evening the 9-piece band will perform a ticketed version of their longer shanty-inspired folk songs. Telling the stories and tales of characters and events in their home town, the band will romp through an engaging hour of music.
