Between Thursday 19 March 2026 and Saturday 21 March 2026
A bold and visually striking new production of A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness, brought to life by our Senior Drama Ensemble. This innovative staging offers an ensemble-driven, highly physical interpretation of the story, blending movement, imagery, and multimedia to illuminate the play's powerful themes of grief, courage, and imagination. With its rich symbolism, dynamic theatricality, and sophisticated storytelling techniques, this production provides exceptional curriculum links for both English and Drama classrooms. Thursday Matinee: Shreddies Friday Matinee: Cornflakes Friday Night: Shreddies Saturday Night: Cornflakes Content Warning This production explores themes of terminal illness, grief, loss, bullying and family conflict. The story deals with emotional responses to a parent’s terminal illness and may be intense for some audience members. These themes are presented on stage through abstract and artistic theatrical storytelling rather than graphic realism. Recommended for secondary students (Years 7-12).

FRIENDLYJORDIES - THE END OF THE WORLD - A FEEL-GOOD COMEDY

Saturday 16 May 2026
At long last, I’m unveiling my meticulously researched, scientifically flawless, and definitely-not-panic-induced prediction for how the world will end. If you disagree, congratulations - you’re part of the problem. Enjoy your echo chamber while the rest of us prepare for the grand finale. Join me as I break down the political incompetence, corporate buffoonery, and garden-variety stupidity that will bring civilisation to a face-planting halt. It’s satire, it’s prophecy, and it’s disturbingly plausible. (Please note: the show will absolutely contain improvised nudity, spontaneous manginas, and other things no one asked for. You’ve been warned.) About Jordan Shanks Jordan Shanks is a controversial political satirist, documentary maker, and podcast creator. He has produced over 3000 no-holds-barred videos for his YouTube channel, has over 3 million followers on social media, and his videos have been viewed over 330 million times. Jordan hopes he will foster some sort of interest in socio-political discourse, maybe even stir positive change, but most people keep asking him to dress up as a high school kid he once knew. Sometimes he complies.
