Trillion Trees Australia (formerly known as Men of The Trees) is a not-for-profit organisation founded in 1979. Since that time we have planted more than 15 million native trees & understory to improve biodiversity, combat salinity and soil erosion. Our Mission - to bring people together to plant and grow trees, and to achieve healthy, productive, sustainable landscapes.

Find out more about what inspired her love affair with the environment and gardening as she shares her knowledge gained from more than 35 years of gardening experience. Sophie brings a down to earth approach to her work and is known for her environmental outlook and love of sustainable gardening. She is a great advocate of the importance of gardening in individual and community health and the role it can play in relieving stress in everyday life. She will present a talk entitled "Saving the World with Gardening", which will be followed by light refreshments.

Ready for a team building experience with a difference? Join us for a corporate tree planting day at Mandoon Moitch (Guildford Meadows) in Caversham.
Located on the banks of the Derbal Yerrigan (Swan River) this remnant wetland is an area of significant environmental importance that provides viable habitat for threatened and at-risk native animal species, and plays an important role in protecting the Gnangara Water Mound. It is also home to registered cultural heritage sites of the local Noongar people.
We provide: Trees, planting equipment, facilities, guidance from the Trillion Trees team, morning tea and lunch. Just bring a hat, gloves and sturdy shoes and a raincoat if the weather is wet!
Group numbers: Min 10 max 40.
Cost $150 per person.

Workshop Series: An Introduction to Wicking Beds

This series will consist of four 2-hour workshops that each focus on different aspects of gardening using a wicking bed, including construction (with a live demonstration), soils and nutrient cycles, what to grow, and managing pests and nutrient deficiencies.
