Membership of the ACT Junior Chess League provides a discount of $5 per tournament entry, as well as allowing you to enter a limited number of ACT Chess Association (Open) events and participate in development activities. Membership is $15 per year for a single player or $20 for a family membership.

After school chess program for students at Ainslie Primary School or Campbell High School. Every Thursday from 3:15pm to 4:30pm at Ainslie Primary School. (NB Change of day for 2024) Coaching will be provided by Edward Neeman (plus other coaches)

After school chess program for junior chess players. Every Friday (during term) from 4:00pm to 5:45pm at Radford College, Bruce. - NB This is open to all junior (Under 18) players

When: Sunday 12 May 2024. Registration starts at 12:45pm. Play commences 1pm and prize giving at around 4:45pm. Where: Campbell High School Hall, Treloar Crescent, Campbell Who: Children born on or after 1 January 2004 Cost: $20 per child ($25 for non-members). Third and subsequent child from the same family is free Time Limits: 15 mins per player per game. 7 rounds will be played on the day and all players participate in all rounds (except when byes occur). No players are “eliminated” during the day! Awards: Trophies for the ACT Open and Girl’s Champions for the Under 8, Under 10, Under 12, Under 14, Under 16 and Under 18 age groups.
