Membership of the ACT Junior Chess League provides a discount of $5 per tournament entry, as well as allowing you to enter a limited number of ACT Chess Association (Open) events and participate in development activities. Membership is $15 per year for a single player or $20 for a family membership.

After school chess program for students at Ainslie Primary School or Campbell High School. Every Thursday from 3:15pm to 4:30pm at Ainslie Primary School. Coaching will be provided by Edward Neeman (plus other coaches)

After school chess program for junior chess players. Every Friday (during term) from 4:00pm to 5:45pm at Radford College, Bruce. - NB This is open to all junior (Under 18) players

When: Sunday 18 May 2025. Registration starts at 12:45pm. Play commences 1pm and prize giving at around 4:45pm. Where: Campbell High School Hall, Treloar Crescent, Campbell Who: Children born on or after 1 January 2005 Cost: $20 per child ($25 for non-members). Third and subsequent child from the same family is free Time Limits: 15 mins per player per game. 7 rounds will be played on the day and all players participate in all rounds (except when byes occur). No players are “eliminated” during the day! Awards: Trophies for the ACT Open and Girl’s Champions for the Under 8, Under 10, Under 12, Under 14, Under 16 and Under 18 age groups.
