Half Yearly Membership of the ACT Junior Chess League. This provides a discount of $5 on tournament entries, as well as allowing you to enter a limited number of ACT Chess Association (Open) events. Membership is $10 for a single player or $15 for a family membership

After school chess program for students at Ainslie Primary School or Campbell High School. Every Thursday from 3:15pm to 4:30pm at Ainslie Primary School. Coaching will be provided by Edward Neeman (plus other coaches)

After school chess program for junior chess players. Every Friday (during term) from 4:00pm to 5:45pm at Radford College, Bruce. - NB This is open to all junior (Under 18) players

2025 ACT Under 8/10 Chess Championships (NB This is a single event with prizes for both age groups) Where: Campbell High School Library, Treloar Crescent, Campbell When: Sunday 21st September Children born on or after 1 January 2015 Schedule: Registration 12:45pm Round 1: 1pm Prize 5pm Tournament Format: 6 rounds (minimum) 15 minutes per player per game Entry Fee: $20 per child ($25 for non-members). Third and subsequent child from the same family is free Trophies for the ACT Under 8 an Under 10 Open and Girls Champions, including second place for each age category and encouragement award medals. Participants can only receive one trophy. Every player receives a ribbon! Participants should have lunch beforehand. No pizza lunch is provided for this tournament. Snack items and drinks will be available for sale. Please note that we have a nut free environment.

At the Spring Boot Camp – Chess Coaching and Lightning day, players will have a morning of top quality coaching from some of Canberra’s best coaches. Coaching will take place in ability based groups over 3 x 1 hour sessions. The afternoon is taken up by a fun event called “Lightning”. Please note we also have the Boot Camp Allegro on Tue 8th October and the Boot Camp Long Time Tournament on Wed 9th and Thu 10th October
