Welcome to Melbourne's newest Balboa social night! Co-hosted by John, Julia, Shob and Andy and bringing you a fun, relaxed opportunity to meet and dance with other bal lovers :) Featuring an intermediate pure balboa class to get you inspired and then 2.5 hours of great social dancing...featuring some beautiful slow balboa tunes as well! This is a wonderfully chilled edition of social dancing to DJed music.

It's time for a challenge! In this workshop Shob and Andy are excited to share challenging concepts that require a deep dive into our blues technique. These classes require body awareness, openness to feedback and a willingness to focus on the small details that make all the difference. Class 1 (1-2:15pm) "Ballroomin' challenge" - Advanced ballrooming blues skills and shapes ** Class 2 (2:30 - 3:45pm) "Slow down your blues" - How to have control, balance and blues aesthetics when the music really slows down ** ** Must be comfortable in close embrace** This workshop is designed for dedicated blues dancers with at least 2 years experience who are regularly social dancing, working on their blues and are comfortable with all the blues foundational principles and rhythms

We are so proud to present a challenging solo jazz workshop to extend and inspire our intermediate and advanced dancers...with the incredible Loz Yee! Part 1 (10-11:15 am) - Enhance your solo jazz with skills, drills and lots of fun and games. With a focus on repertoire, rhythm and repetition...you will be jazz jamming with confidence in no time! Part 2 (11:30-12:45 pm) - A fun mindbending choreography challenge! 12:45-1pm - Recaps and wrap up

We are turning four years old and we would love to celebrate with our amazing Night Owls community!
