Bush Knowing Forest School offers nature immersion and early learning experiences for young children.
Led by Joanne Sørensen, Bush Knowing was the first Forest School in North Brisbane. It began as a way to engage and immerse children and their families with the local natural environment.

Between Thursday 2 February 2023 and Thursday 30 March 2023
Bush Knowing Forest School offers nature immersion and early learning experiences for young children in North Brisbane. This is a consistent group of up to 15 families who pay for and attend Thursday 9am until midday approximately 10 sessions per term of the Queensland School year. It is aimed at children two years and over, though siblings are welcome. Payment is for any child over 18months of age. All sessions are non refundable unless the Forest School leader cancels the session.

Join us as we learn about the basics of tool use. We will create a range of items that you can then recreate and share with your groups of children. All materials and tools will be included. From 9 until 2pm. Please bring your own morning tea and lunch. Please let us know if you have any allergies. Introduction to fire and safety
Saturday 13 May 2023
Join us as we learn about the basics of fire and safe use around groups of children. We will go through C&K paperwork and guidelines as well as all required resources. We will then cook our own morning tea, which is provided. From 9 until 12.30pm. Please let us know if you have any allergies. Participants must have completed C&K Nature training.
