Imagine the Glamour of a Race that Stops the Nation

Tuesday 30 May 2023
The Melbourne Cup is Australia’s most famous annual thoroughbred horse race held in November during the Melbourne Spring Racing Carnival. First run in 1861 it is the richest two-mile handicap in the world and known locally as ‘the race that stops the nation’. During the RI Convention you can imagine the glamour and excitement of “the Cup” at Flemington Racecourse, where it is run annually. Start your memorable experience by riding a private Rotary express train to (and from) Flemington; have your picture taken with a past winning racehorse and the mighty Cup itself. You will then experience and enjoy the ambience of the Premier Dining Room with stunning views of the night city skyline while indulging in a seated gourmet dinner with Premier Treasury Australian Wines. Don’t miss out on this once in a lifetime opportunity to be able to experience Flemington and the excitement of the Melbourne Cup in May!!
