Shepparton Provide CPR (HLTAID009) - 11 February 2026

In this CPR course, you will learn lifesaving CPR skills, in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines, including using an automated external defibrillator (AED), how to rotate first aiders with minimal interruptions to compressions, and what to do if the casualty regurgitates or vomits. This course is meant as a refresher and if you are completing Provide First Aid (HLTAID011) you do not need to also enrol in this course. Participants must be physically able to perform practical tasks, including two minutes of uninterrupted CPR on the floor and rescue breathing on manikins. Additionally, an internet-connected device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) is required to complete the mandatory online pre-course studies.

Shepparton Provide First Aid (HLTAID011) - 11 February 2026

This First Aid course teaches the skills and knowledge to recognise emergencies and provide immediate and effective first aid treatment to any person suffering a sudden illness or injury. This course also includes CPR. Participants must be physically able to perform practical tasks, including two minutes of uninterrupted CPR on the floor and rescue breathing on manikins. Additionally, an internet-connected device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) is required to complete the mandatory online pre-course studies.

Picola League Level 1 Sports Trainer and CPR Course

Level 1 Sports Trainer, First Aid & CPR Training – PDFNL Valley Sport, in partnership with the Picola & District Football Netball League (PDFNL), is delivering accredited Level 1 Sports Trainer, First Aid and CPR training for club members. Course Details Date: Sunday 22 February Time: 9:00am start Location: Centralised PDFNL venue (details TBC) Level 1 Sports Trainer Course This course includes HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid. Participants who already hold a current HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid certificate and complete the course will receive an updated HLTAID011 certificate. The Level 1 Sports Trainer qualification does not expire. CPR Training Option HLTAID009 – Provide CPR will also be delivered on the day for participants who only require their annual CPR refresher and are not completing the full Level 1 Sports Trainer course. Please note: CPR training may include a short online theory component that must be completed prior to attending the 1-hour face-to-face practical session. Course Delivery The Level 1 Sports Trainer course is delivered via a blended delivery model, consisting of: -Approximately 4 hours of online theory, and -4 hours of face-to-face practical training Important: The online theory component must be completed prior to attending the practical session. Participants who have not completed the online component will be unable to attend the practical training. Entry Requirements (Allens Training Pty Ltd) To be eligible for enrolment, participants must demonstrate: -Foundational skills including reading, oral communication, numeracy, problem-solving and self-management -Physical capability to meet the demands of practical demonstrations -Appropriate attire to allow demonstration of various taping techniques Minimum Numbers A minimum of 10 enrolments is required for the training to proceed.
