SYNOPSIS
Love, trust, betrayal and infidelity - couples tangle and unravel in the search for love and excitement. A woman goes missing and the suspect is reported by a fearful neighbour. But why is she alone that night and has a crime been committed? Why will one person never give up on the past and another discards it as meaningless? Is trust enough?
Speaking in Tongues is a contemporary, gritty Australian psychological drama that explores the inner fears and desires that drive people to act against their better judgement. Winner of the 1997 AWGIE Stage Award for best new play and adapted into the award winning film Lantana, it is a disturbing, stylised tale of human lies, weakness, love and manipulation.
