Considering a short trip away but not sure if you want to travel in a public group? We offer private supported experiences for up to 6 blind or low vision travellers. Being a Not for Profit, we pride ourselves in connecting blind and low vision travellers with communities across Australia and by doing this, we endeavour to donate parts of your trip as in kind with the support we render. Our trained support guides are excellent at helping you navigate unfamiliar environments as well as delivering your experience in a touristic manner. We will deliver interesting information as well as highlighting the sensory and tactile elements of the destination. You will chose your destination, dates, support levels & group size for a quote. Prices start at $1449 per person, twin share based on a 2 night stay. This includes 36 hours of support, 2 nights accommodation and local transport. Destinations include: Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Blue Mountains, Port Stephens & Melbourne

Book of Mormon - Expressions of Interest

This is an expressions of interest event listing and tickets will be secured once we reach 3 participants. THE BOOK OF MORMON is a 9-time Tony Award®-winning musical that follows a mismatched pair of Mormons sent on a mission to a place that’s about as far from Salt Lake City as you can get. It is laugh out loud funny, and sometimes, a bit rude! So please come with an open mind! We will meet at Platform 1, Sydney Central Train Station at 10:30am and walk to China Town for lunch (own expense) before going to see the 1pm performance. This supported experience is priced for 5 hours of: 1 in 3 support being $260 with a $50 non refundable deposit OR 1 in 2 support will $315 with a $50 deposit. If you are bringing a paid support then the cost of the experience is $380 for the 2 tickets and to join the group lunch.

White Cane Mingle at Moorebank Sporties

To mark International White Cane Day, Cocky Guides has announced the launch of its new White Cane Mingle initiative, in partnership with Moorebank Sports Club. The White Cane Mingle provides a welcoming and supportive space for people who are blind or have low vision — including dog guide handlers — along with their families, friends, club members, and local supporters to connect, share experiences, and celebrate community at Moorebank Sporties in Hammondville. The first event will take place on Wednesday, 12 November 2025, at 10:30 a.m. Guests will have the opportunity to meet others in the community and explore accessible activities and opportunities. The program will feature Jason Stubbs and athletes from Blind Sport & Recreation NSW/ACT, as well as travellers from Cocky Guides. Morning tea is provided, and a social lunch will follow. Complimentary transport is available from both Liverpool and Holsworthy Train Stations, plus suburbs within 5 km, upon request.

Port Stephens - 2 night stay, plus Harley & Jet Ski Day

Want to check out the Harley & Jet Ski day with The American Motorcycle Club & want to stay the night with group support? Well, Cocky Guides is connecting the dots with a small bus/van travelling to Port Stephens Koala Sanctuary for the weekend! Meet at Platform 1, Sydney Central Train Station at 9.30 am on Saturday, and we will travel to Port Stephens. After check-in and orientation, we'll enjoy a sunset cruise on the bay. On Sunday, we will travel to Corlette to participate in the Harley and Jet Ski Day. On our final day, we will have a late departure and a lunch at your own expense in the Hunter Valley. This supported experience is priced for 3 full days of: 1 in 3 support is $1,185 plus a $175 deposit, OR 1 in 2 support is $1,778 plus a $175 deposit for TWIN SHARE. If you would like to upgrade to a solo room, it is $390 extra. If you are bringing a paid support, then the cost of the experience is $1,490 for 2 people (participant and their paid support), twin share.

Port Stephens Harley & Jet Ski Day Bus Transfers

Want to check out the Harley and Jet Ski day with The American Motorcycle Club? Well, Cocky Guides is connecting the dots with a small bus/van travelling from Hamilton Train Station for the day! Complimentary activities include Motorbike & Trikes Rides, Jumping Castle, Sailing Yacht and Jet Skis A social BBQ lunch with complimentary food, drinks & snacks will finish off our fun day. Meet at Hamilton Train Station at 9 am on Sunday, 30 November 2025. We will travel to Corlette to participate in the Harley and Jet Ski Day, then return to Hamilton by 3:30 pm. Cocky Guides provide return transfers for $50 per person.

Norfolk Island 2026 - EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST

Feel the textures of volcanic rock and soft sand, listen to seabirds and ocean waves, and taste the island’s local produce in hands-on cooking and farm visits. Step back in time at the UNESCO World Heritage Kingston convict settlement — feel the rough stone walls, old timber, and ironwork as history comes alive through guided storytelling. Meet friendly locals at home-hosted dinners, create art with natural island materials, and enjoy gentle bushwalks, fresh breezes, and relaxing aromatherapy. Every moment is designed to engage the senses and connect you to Norfolk’s people, nature, and convict past. This supported experience is priced with 5 days of 12 hours support (subject to change). Flights, food, drinks are extra. There will be an out of pocket, personal contribution required to secure your spot once the tour is confirmed and you have received confirmation from Cocky Guides of the tour finalised dates. Travel dates will be between March and August and will be confirmed once a minimum of 4 travellers have expressed their interest. Passports and visas are not required when travelling to Norfolk Island from the Australian mainland. However, photographic identification, must be produced for each passenger (including children) for clearance by the Australian Border Force. Travel insurance in compulsory for this trip.
