Considering a short trip away but not sure if you want to travel in a public group? We offer private supported experiences for up to 6 blind or low vision travellers. Being a Not for Profit, we pride ourselves in connecting blind and low vision travellers with communities across Australia and by doing this, we endeavour to donate parts of your trip as in kind with the support we render. Our trained support guides are excellent at helping you navigate unfamiliar environments as well as delivering your experience in a touristic manner. We will deliver interesting information as well as highlighting the sensory and tactile elements of the destination. You will chose your destination, dates, support levels & group size for a quote. Prices start at $1449 per person, twin share based on a 2 night stay. This includes 36 hours of support, 2 nights accommodation and local transport. Destinations include: Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Blue Mountains, Port Stephens & Melbourne

Take an electrifying ride back in time with London’s Olivier Award-winning best new musical, adapted for the stage by the creators of the original movie trilogy. Starring Tony Award-winner Roger Bart, who originated the iconic role of Doc Brown on the West End and Broadway, and rising star Axel Duffy as Marty McFly. They lead an outstanding cast including Ashleigh Rubenach as Lorraine Baines, Ethan Jones as George McFly, and Javon King as Goldie Wilson. Welcome to Hill Valley! When Marty McFly finds himself transported back to 1955 in a time machine built by the eccentric scientist Doc Brown, he accidentally changes the course of history. Inclusive Volunteer Radio Operators Course

Coalcliff Surf Life Saving Club is inviting expressions of interest from blind and low-vision Australians across the Illawarra, Southern Sydney, and South West Sydney to take part in a new, inclusive pathway into surf lifesaving—as Volunteer Radio Operators. The Radio Operators Course will commence on Sunday 25 January 2026, running from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Coalcliff Beach. The course is free, with supported transport options available from Sydney and the Illawarra. This initiative extends Coalcliff SLSC’s award-winning Dreams Take Flight Community Program, enabling blind and low-vision participants to play a vital role in beach safety while remaining shore-based. Radio operators are central to every patrol—managing communications, logging incidents, and coordinating responses between patrol teams and emergency services. Originally founded in the 2020/21 season to empower disadvantaged youth, Dreams Take Flight has grown over five years to support students from multiple schools across South West Sydney. For the 2025/26 patrol season, the program is proudly expanding to include blind and low-vision Australians, strengthening inclusion within surf lifesaving and local beach communities. The program includes: Online theory, completed at home or in group sessions Two practical workshops, 90 minutes each at Coalcliff SLSC Skills assessment, leading to the Surf Life Saving Radio Operators Certificate Transport coordination and up to ten funded surf club memberships are supported through Cocky Guides. Live the Lighthouse Life on the NSW Central Coast!

Live the Lighthouse Life – A Coastal Escape on the NSW Central Coast Step away from the everyday and immerse yourself in a truly unique coastal escape, living on site with our group in the historic Head Lighthouse Keeper’s Cottage. This relaxed four-day experience invites you to slow down, savour the moment, and enjoy the simple pleasures of good food, fresh sea air, and gentle exploration. Over three nights, you’ll enjoy local produce, home-cooked meals, and short, leisurely walks along nearby coastal tracks, beaches, and surrounding bushland — all at a pace designed for comfort and connection. Day 1 – Sydney to the Lighthouse Meet at Sydney’s Central Station at 9:00 am and travel together to the NSW Central Coast. Along the way, we’ll visit local makers and producers to gather supplies for our stay. Guests will contribute up to $100 towards a shared food kitty. Upon arrival, you’ll be oriented to the cottage and lighthouse precinct before settling in with a pre-dinner platter and drinks as the sun sets, followed by a shared group meal. Day 2 – Lighthouse Living Enjoy a quiet, restorative day at the lighthouse. White Cane Mingle at Moorebank Sporties

A new community initiative is launching at Moorebank Sports Club. Cocky Guides has partnered with Moorebank Sporties to host White Cane Mingle — a welcoming and inclusive space for blind and low-vision residents, their families, and supporters to connect and build community. The first White Cane Mingle takes place on Wednesday, 12 November 2025, at 10:30 a.m., followed by a Christmas Mingle on Wednesday, 3 December 2025, celebrating the International Day of People with Disability. Events will continue regularly at Moorebank Sporties in Hammondville. Participants will enjoy a relaxed social gathering, an orientation around the venue, and the chance to form lasting connections with others who share similar experiences. Kellie Hayes, Director of Cocky Guides Australia, said the program helps break down barriers to inclusion. “White Cane Mingle brings the broader community together with blind and low-vision individuals to help build meaningful social networks. Together with Moorebank Sports Club, we’re creating a supportive hub for Sydney’s south-west.” Complimentary transport is available from nearby suburbs and train stations.

Every moment is designed to engage the senses and connect you to Norfolk’s people, nature, and convict past. This supported experience is priced with 5 days of 12 hours support (subject to change). Flights, food, drinks are extra. There will be an out of pocket, personal contribution required to secure your spot once the tour is confirmed and you have received confirmation from Cocky Guides of the tour finalised dates. Travel dates will be between March and August and will be confirmed once a minimum of 4 travellers have expressed their interest. Passports and visas are not required when travelling to Norfolk Island from the Australian mainland.
