St Kevin's College Foundation Dinner 2023
The annual dinner of the St Kevin's College Foundation.
Major General (Retired) Jake Ellwood is an Old Boy of College (Class of 1988). His commencement after Year 12 at The Royal Military College, Duntroon led to a period of nearly 35 years of service to the Australian Army. Over the course of his career Jake has been a witness to some of the defining geo-political events of our time, with overseas command postings in Kosovo, East Timor, Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as, the provision of disaster response to the Queensland floods and Black Summer Bushfires across NSW and Victoria. Jake is proud of his association with St Kevin’s and particularly grateful for the assistance that it provided to him in his formative years; his story from Moonga Road to the highest levels of Australia’s defence forces is one that all members of the College community will want to hear.
