The Rotary Club of Deniliquin and Edward River Art Society are delighted to invite Artists to the 30th Easter Art Show.

If you are unable to register online, please contact us on dranderas00@gmail.com for an entry form and note that entry forms, must be received by Friday 10 March 2023. Late artwork will not be displayed. If you are posting an entry form, please allow 2 weeks.

- Local scene: depicting Deniliquin and district (with recognisable subject matter): any medium 1st prize $600, 2nd prize $150
- Watercolour: including Ink & Wash 1st prize $500, 2nd prize $150

- Works on paper: including pastels, pens, pencils, charcoal 1st prize $500, 2nd prize $150

Entry information for Artists
Small to medium - $15 per exhibit*. Artwork must not exceed 1.2m2 inc frame
Large - $30 per exhibit. Artwork must not exceed 3m2. Eg. 1.2 x 2.5 = 3m2 inc frame
3D works – $15 per exhibit* includes ceramics, metal, wood & textiles etc - must not exceed 2m3 - must be free standing and suitable for indoor/outdoor unless specified.
*Youth - $5 per exhibit, no commission taken, not to exceed 1.2m2
Artists may exhibit up to 3 works – (except in large category where there is a limit of one entry per artist). Each artwork must be suitably presented and ready to hang with flush hangers. Works on stretched canvas need not have additional framing, however, well finished and clean edges are essential.
Each entry must have one identifying Artwork Label with artists name, painting title, price, medium and section entered. This should be afixed to the back lower left corner.
All entries must be for sale and must be recent original works of the Artist and must not have been exhibited in the Deniliquin Easter Art Show previously. The same work may not be entered in more than one section.
Sculpture is to be delivered inside the hall by the exhibitor or nominated person.

Payment of entry fees can be paid by Credit Card – by registering online at www.trybooking.com/CFJNJ
If you are unable to register online, entry fees can be paid by Direct Deposit to Deniliquin Easter Art Show, BSB 633-108 ACC 1454 88375. Please use your name and Art Show as reference. Eg. John Smith Art Entry.
Delivery & Packaging
Postal entries of exhibits are to be received at the Deniliquin Post Office by Friday 31 March 2023. All return address labels and stamps must be included in packaging, and Insurance costs must be met by the artist. Mail to ERAS PO Box 1357 Deniliquin NSW 2710
Entries are to be delivered free of all charges to the Deniliquin Multi Arts Centre, Cressy St, Deniliquin NSW 2710 by Monday 3 April 2023 between 10am and 2.30pm ONLY. Flags will denote door entry.

Unsold exhibits are to be collected from the Deniliquin Multi Arts Centre between 1pm and 4pm, Monday 10 April unless prior arrangements have been made with the Committee.
Please note: the Committee will exercise all reasonable care in the handling of exhibits but will not be responsible or liable for any loss, theft or damage of exhibits whilst in its custody and/or during transport.
Sales & Commissions: All exhibits must be for sale and are to remain on display until 12.00 midday, Monday 10 April 2023. All monies from the sale of entries will be paid to the Deniliquin Easter art Show Committee.
Sold exhibits - A 25% commission will be deducted from the sale price (apart from the Youth entrants) with the balance paid by direct deposit into the artists nominated bank account.
When setting a sale price, take into consideration the commission applied and if registered for GST. It is the responsibility of the artist to ensure correct documentation has been provided to the Committee.
Terms & publication of work: The artist permits the Committee to arrange the publication of the catalogue. The Committee will not be held responsible for any errors or mis-descriptions on any related materials and the Committee’s records remain the final reference. By entering this exhibition artists agree to their work being photographed and/or published.
Judging:
The three acquisitive prizes will be judged first and these exhibits will not be eligible for any further prize. The decision of the judge will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Local Artist Award will be awarded to local artists residing within a 50km radius of Deniliquin, who have not been awarded any other prize. This prize will be selected by the show judge.
Opening night – Award presentation: All winners will be announced and prizes awarded at the opening night function. Winners will be notified by the end of judging on Wednesday 5 April to allow them time to attend. Peoples choice voting will occur throughout the weekend, and the winner will be announced at the conclusion of the show.
General: The Committee reserves the right to use its discretion in all matters. Should a dispute arise for which no specific rule is apparent, the Committee’s decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. The Committee reserves the right to exclude any exhibit deemed unsuitable for exhibition; or to withdraw or reclassify entries not complying with the section entered or where there is insufficent space to display all entries.
