Childhood friends Aidan Filshie (viola) and Pat Jaffe (piano) reunite to perform the joyous original music from their duo EP - 'SUMMIT'. Released on Brisbane-based label MADE NOW MUSIC, the EP features Pat's compositions in a celebration of the Australian landscapes that the two artists love.The second set will feature a new ensemble, consisting of Beatrice Colombis (vln), Josef Hanna (vln), Aidan Filshie (vla) and Noah Oshiro (vc). Their program will complement the jazz-infused repertoire of the first set, featuring Harold Shapero's 'Lydian String Quartet' and 'Giant Dudokian Steps' by John Coltrane arr. Oene van Geel.
