Propagating Plants Through Cuttings
Autumn and early winter are ideal times for taking cuttings from many plants, so learning about the process and some of its variations before mid-autumn is ideal. The workshop is being run by Rob Porter, who does much of the Garden's own propagation by cutting. Participants will get to do some cuttings of their own from plant material provided, look at different propagation media and stimulants for root development, look briefly at the biology behind cutting development, and take away a summary of information. Event cost is $33.
1hr to 1.5hr session plant material supplied, BYO notebook, pencil and re-useable cup.
