Sarah Calderwood is a renowned singer songwriter and flute player from Brisbane, lead vocalist of Celtic band Sunas. She has been nominated for an ARIA award, toured Europe many times and released two acclaimed solo albums. She is performing solo.Deline Briscoe is a strong Yalanji woman of song from the Daintree region of Far North Queensland. Her roots planted deeply in Yalanji culture and Gospel vocals, Deline combines these two worlds in her music. She has sung with many of Australia’s most loved musicians including Archie Roach, Paul Kelly, Emma Donovan and Shane Howard.
Sunday Folk host Karen Law has been writing exquisite modern folk songs for over 30 years. She will share the stage here with her daughter Hazel, also an inspired songwriter, to create a heartwarming and uplifting opening set that traces the mother/daughter journey into adulthood.
