It’s been a while, but Melbourne guitar-wizard and superlative songsmith Jeff Lang is back on the road - and we’re thrilled to be part of his regional tour.
Jeff Lang’s last Wauchope Arts appearance was back in 2021, when he shared cheeky stories and fine tunes as part of his 'Some Memories Never Die' book launch tour.
This time Jeff will be introducing a new album of instrumental 12-string guitar music. ‘Interstate Pulse’ is a collection of beautiful improvisations, recorded over several years and garnered together on one limited edition CD.
Composed by Jeff, this album covers a lot of ground stylistically, from blues to extended folk melodies and the music has rarely been performed live. Jeff's promised to also include some popular favourites and carefully chosen gems (including one or two of our own requests) from across his 30 year career.
Join us for a night of beguiling explorations on 12-string guitar and the kind of bold musical storytelling audiences have come to expect from Jeff Lang.
Local support: opening the night will be local gal Em (#Emir_Music) whose funky style and amazing voice needs to be seen to be believed.
