Amnesty International, OXFAM and SAGE(ST. Margaret's Action Group for the Environment) are presenting "Franklin" A documentary film following the journey of 8th generation Tasmanian Oliver Cassidy as he retraces the trip of his late father who travelled down the beautiful river to attend the blockade that saved the World Heritage listed national park from being destroyed by a huge hydroelectric dam project in the 1980ies.Speakers from each group will give a short 3 talk minute about their groups climate actions/concerns
Refeshments and displays from each group will be held in the hall.
