Mapping the Figure: Life Drawing with John Pratt
To celebrate the final days of “Traverse” in gallery 1, artist John Pratt will lead a playful investigation of the figure as a structural and topographic presence. Enjoy a complimentary glass of wine with John, a tutor with many years of experience teaching Graphic Investigation at the Canberra School of Art, as he leads an exploration of drawing as a means of understanding and conveying emotional and psychological states. With John’s kind and thoughtful guidance, you will embark on a visual quest to explore a range of approaches that consider, in particular, mark making, scale and composition. The workshop is suitable for all levels of experience, 18years and over.
