Indian Classical Music night featuring two of Australias most respected Indian music artists Vinod Prassana and Bobby Singh.Born into one of India’s greatest flute-playing families, award-winning bansuri (flute) virtuoso Vinod Prasanna shines as an outstanding performer of authentic traditional and contemporary Indian music. Vinod’s emotive melodies, exquisite improvisations and divine flute song distinguish his performance of Indian classical, world and meditation music. Simply, Indian music at its finest.
ARIA Award winner Bobby SIngh is a disciple of the great Pt Aneesh Pradhan, Bobby has been performing and teaching Tabla in Australia for over 30 years and now calls the Northern NSW area home, he has performed with many of the finest Indian and Western musicians in India and Australia.
Together Vinod and Bobby will take you on a musical journey exploring Raag and Taal, which has been passed down musical lineages from master to disciple for centuries.
