Commanding the Future Indo-Pacific
About
With the Indo-Pacific the decisive theatre of our century—where military posture, alliances and technology integration are shaping the balance of power, this in-conversation event with General (Ret) Charles A. Flynn, former Commanding General of US Army Pacific, will examine how nations can deter coercion, build resilience and maintain stability amid intensifying strategic competition.Drawing on lessons from General Flynn’s tenure, the event will explore the evolving role of land forces in what is often characterised as a maritime region; the value of ally and partner interoperability; and how states can generate, build and apply credible military power in the Indo-Pacific to deter threats and set conditions to prevail in conflict.
