Throat Lumps and Brain Bumps: When to Watch, When to Worry
About
General practitioners (GPs) frequently encounter patients with head and neck symptoms that may be benign, incidental, or indicative of serious pathology. With increasing access to imaging and heightened patient concern, findings such as brain cysts, throat lumps, and ventricular enlargement are becoming more common in primary care. This CPD activity addresses the clinical uncertainty surrounding these presentations and aims to equip GPs with practical, evidence-based strategies to assess, manage, and refer appropriately.Location
