AIRC25 x SA State Championships – West Lakes Competition Hub
West Lakes will host both the Australian Indoor Rowing Championships (AIRC25) and the South Australian Indoor Rowing State Championships.
The hub is located in the Rowing SA Indoor Rowing Room, 100 Military Road, West Lakes Shore. Parking is available along Military Road, with limited spaces in the Rowing SA carpark. Shower facilities are available on-site.

To race at West Lakes, you must book a seat on this page to reserve your erg.
Racing at the West Lakes hub automatically enters you into the SAIRL State Championships. State Championships entry is $10 for entry into as many events as you would like.
AIRC25 allows virtual racing submissions, but SAIRL events must be raced in person at West Lakes. Booking a seat on this page is required for all in-person competitors.

Race Times Starting From:
Lightweight rowers please contact admin@rowingsa.asn.au at least 24 hours beforehand if you are eligible and wish to weigh in before 4:00pm.
4:00pm: Venue open for warm up
4:30pm: 1,000m
5:00pm: 500m
5:30pm: 2,000m
6:00pm: 1-Minute
6:30pm: 4x500m Team Relay
Racing Format:
Four rowers per race for each event other than the relay. The relay will be two teams at a time.
Rowing machines will be side-by-side with a screen displaying your race position and data to the room (little digital boats in lanes!).
The rowing machine you have been allocated will display your name or team name before your race begins. You may use this machine to continue to warm up until told to stop. Once told to stop, the race will begin shortly.

FAQ's
1) Why can't I enter the Tuesday and Thursday?
A) Unfortunately we have had to move to the one day format, so the hub will only be open on the Thursday.
2) Can I also race virtually if I enter the AIRC via this site?
A) Yes! If you would like your unique code required for virtual racing before your in person event, send us an email.
3) I have already entered the AIRC, can I race at the hub?
A) Yes, you can enter the SA State Championships ($10), and email us your unique code within 24 hours of your race.
4) Can I race in the SA State Championships virtually?
A) Unfortunately this is not possible at this time.
5) I paid for the SAIRL State Championships at Seymour - Am I entered in the new date?
A) No, you will need to reply to the email sent to you with details to receive your refund. A new entry must be made to compete.
