As summer nears, our region faces increased fire danger and severe weather risks that can impact your business and the community. Now is the time to prepare your business before the season begins.
Join us for this practical workshop designed to help local businesses understand risks, manage responsibilities, and prepare for the unexpected.
This session will guide you through the key stages of Prepare, Respond and Recover, with a focus on local bushfire risk patterns, Peninsula specific seasonal forecasts and the steps you can take to protect your people, property, and operations. You’ll learn how to develop a simple and effective emergency plan, communicate clearly with your team and customers before, during and after an emergency, and understand what recovery looks like.
Representatives from the CFA and the Shire’s Community Resilience and Emergency Management Team will share practical guidance, tools, and templates to help you strengthen your business’s preparedness.
