About

Domestic and family violence is an important health issue, with victims often presenting to health services for a variety of health needs. Clinicians have an important responsibility to not only identify signs of abuse but provide a safe environment where victims are more likely to disclose their situation. The Ask Assess Respond Procedure guides how clinicians can create a safe environment as well as ask the right questions to support identifying vulnerable consumers.
